Pawtucket Library reopens on Sundays. Sets Not-Too-Spooky Storytime for Oct. 16.
The Pawtucket Library will be open Sundays from Noon to 3:45 p.m. beginning October 16th. On opening day, the library will offer a family friendly Not-Too-Spooky Storytime at 1:00 p.m. Come join Miss Maria for spooky stories, songs and rhymes followed by a simple monster craft. Please feel free to wear your costume and bring your treat bag. Masks recommended. Registration required. To register, please call 401-725-3714 x209 or email Childrens@pawtucketlibrary.org.

The Library also offers free WI-FI, quiet study rooms, internet PCs with Microsoft Office, color copying, printing, faxing and scanning. Parents are welcome to bring their children to the imaginative play toddler area in the Children’s Library, which also includes two adjacent parent computers. Grab a bestseller or new movie on DVD while visiting too.
Funds to open Sundays were made available due to the RI General Assembly fully funding State Aid to libraries in the 2023 budget signed by Governor Dan McKee. This is an increase from 21.79% in Fiscal 2022 to 25% in 2023.
