PACE-RI invites Rhode Islanders 55+ to July 6th Newport Gulls game
As participant enrollment gains momentum in Newport, PACE-RI has partnered up with a local baseball team to spread the word about the PACE program. The Newport Gull’s July 6 game vs. the Upper Valley Nighthawks at 4:05 p.m. will be sponsored by PACE-RI.
“The past two years have been a challenge for seniors living on fixed incomes because of COVID and now inflation,” said CEO Joan Kwiatkowski. “Through a partnership with the Newport Gulls, we’re offering free admission to Rhode Island residents who are 55+ to this game.
“What better way to celebrate summer than with America’s favorite pastime, a little sunshine and some good competition, right here in Newport?” added Kwiatkowski.

Newport Gulls are a wooden-bat collegiate summer baseball team that features collegiate players from UCLA, Michigan State, Louisville, and many more NCAA Division 1 teams.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars and join us next month at Cardines Field, 20 America’s Cup Avenue, in Newport for this game. If you’re 55 or older, bring your i.d. and you’ll receive a complimentary ticket, courtesy of PACE-RI, an organization with a mission to keep Rhode Island seniors live healthy, happy lives “safe at home.”
