Ortho RI expands orthopedic services with Day Kimball Health partnership
Expanded practice delivers patient-centered care across a broad range of orthopedic needs
Day Kimball Health (DKH) announced today the formation of The Ortho Group at Day Kimball Health and a new partnership with Ortho Rhode Island (Ortho RI). The expanded orthopedic practice serves patients at Day Kimball Healthcare Center, 12 South Main Street in Putnam, Connecticut, and now includes three advanced practice providers and four surgeons.
The Ortho Group provides comprehensive orthopedic care, including sports medicine interventions, therapeutic services, and a broad spectrum of non-operative and surgical treatment options for injuries such as fractures, joint replacements, sprains, and strains.
The partnership with Ortho RI further strengthens DKH’s commitment to delivering exceptional Orthopedic care to the community while expanding the range of services and treatments it provides. Based in Warwick, RI, Ortho RI is a leader in orthopedic innovation like robotic-assisted surgery, and is committed to providing the best patient experience to communities throughout southern New England.

Meet our Orthopedic Surgeons:
Brian H. Cohen, MD: Board-certified orthopedic surgeon who attended medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency and Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship at Alpert Medical School of Brown University/ Rhode Island Hospital and specializes in open and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle.
Victor Gennaro, DO: Board-certified orthopedic surgeon who attended medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery and internship at Metropolitan Hospital Central Division in Philadelphia, PA.
Sidney P. Migliori, MD: Board-certified orthopedic surgeon who attended the University of Minnesota Medical School where she also completed her General Surgery Internship and Orthopedic Surgery Residency, and specializes in sports-related surgeries and leads the Ortho RI Total Joint Replacement Program.
Douglass Weiss, MD: Board-certified orthopedic surgeon who attended medical school at Dartmouth Medical School, completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA, and fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at The Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Vail, CO.

Alyson Hernigle, PA-C, AT-C: Board-certified physician assistant with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
David J. LaChance, APRN: Board-certified Nurse Practitioner with undergraduate degrees from Becker Junior College and New York Regents College, a Master of Science degree from the University of Connecticut, and a Post-Graduate certificate for Registered Nurse First Assistant from the University of Rochester.
Michael G. Olm MS, PA-C: Board-certified physician assistant with Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Physician Assistant Studies from Springfield College in Springfield, MA.
