“My name is Lincoln Chafee. I’m running for President. As a Libertarian”

Yesterday, at the National Press Club, former Rhode Island mayor, senator and governor – and former Democrat, Republican, and Independent – gave a 25+ minute speech about why he has decided to run for President, for the second time, and this time as a Libertarian.

He addressed several issues and took questions. From the war on drugs, wars around the world, the national deficit, criminal justice reform, and loss of trust in government.

“Our planet’s special, our country’s special, this is a Democratic process, and let’s go out there and have some fun.”
