Movies in the Park at Rocky Point

The Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce will once again be hosting Movies in the Park at Rocky Point, presented by Wave Federal Credit Union, beginning on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Gates open at 5:30 pm to the public with free admission and free parking 

Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce welcomes everyone to enjoy an incredible night under the stars watching a family friendly movie. The first movie in the three-night summer series, presented by Wave Federal Credit Union, will be shown on Thursday, June 23rd in Rocky Point Park.

Movies, Activities, Food Trucks, and more, with Free Parking and Free Admission are waiting for you.

Special guests will join us on selected nights. June 23rd features the R.I. DEM Touch A Truck, July 28th has the Warwick Police & Fire Touch A Truck and a special guest appearance from K-9 Charley, Warwick’s new community compassion dog.

    There are 2 parking lots. When you go down Rocky Point Ave, right before the gates, there is a parking lot on the right and people can walk down the long road to the grass area. For you, you would need to take a left at the gates, and the next right is the road to a bigger parking lot. There are handicap spots along the grass and a few handicap shots further down the hill, closer to the water.

    Sounds great! Does this mean, I will be able to drive into the park where you can see the ocean? I am handicap, the last time I was there you had to pard in a small wooded park & walk-in… I could not do it. I’m assuming parking will go into the park & the movie will be on the grassy area? TY

      It looks like you can drive up close but I would get in touch with the Central RI Chamber of Commerce and double check. Have fun!
