Mobile Sports Betting – Step Right Up

As of 3pm Wednesday, September 4th, mobile sports betting was ‘live’ in Rhode Island. People can now download their apps – and let the games begin.

But you’ll have to hold that bet until you take a trip to Twin River to register for that app by showing a photo ID. Then you are good to go. Registration is only at Twin River in Lincoln for now but is expected to be available in Tiverton within a few days.

Rhode Island has bet on another field of dreams to bolster its financial coffers – with expectations that it will bring in – combined with in-person bettering over $22.7 million.

We downloaded it – we even opted for push notifications. It has nice “clicks” on the screen. We’re not rushing to “ID” ourselves, though.

Interesting, that the online betting website shows that as of 8pm there were 81,451 people online playing games ranging from Twin Spin to a high limit game of Money Rain – and Louis, Arline and Pam were way, way ahead in their scores…will you play? Let us know…
