“Mandela EFFECT” – WHAT IS IT? AND WHY IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND!
“Specific false memories can sometimes be shared by a large group of people. This phenomenon was dubbed the “Mandela Effect” by paranormal researcher Fiona Broome, who reported having vivid and detailed memories of news coverage of South African anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela dying in prison in the 1980s, despite Mandela’s actually dying in 2013, decades after his release and after serving as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999. Broome reported that hundreds of other people had written about having the same memory of Mandela’s death, some while he was still alive, and she speculated that the phenomenon could be evidence of parallel realities“.

These examples make me feel like I’m losing my mind gang. Literally. How about you? Here we go…
SOME EXAMPLES:
Monopoly man – “Many people recall the Monopoly mascot, Rich Uncle Pennybags, wearing a monocle, but he never has in the official game”.
Snow White – “In Disney’s Snow White, people remember the Evil Queen saying, “Mirror, mirror on the wall,” but the actual line is “Magic mirror on the wall”.
Forest Gump – “The line, “Life is like a box of chocolates,” is often misquoted; the actual line is, “Life was like a box of chocolates”.
Sex in the City – “Many people remember the HBO series being called “Sex in the City,” but the correct title is “Sex and the City”.
Sinbad’s Shazam – “Some people recall a movie from the 1990s where Sinbad played a genie in a film called “Shazam,” but Sinbad has never made such a movie”.
FINALLY…
STAR WARS – “Luke, I am your father.” It’s one of the most famous movie quotes ever, right? Not quite. That line isn’t actually in the Star Wars movies. Darth Vader’s real line is, “No, I am your father.”

Parents ARE FAILING THEIR CHILDREN. Look AROUND…
Gang, why don’t parents (not all… so don’t get your britches in a bunch) talk to their kids about anything anymore? As I scour the landscape daily for decent sane people to interact with, I encounter so many parents who know that their kid is doing something they shouldn’t be doing, but allow it saying “well, they’re going to do it anyway so… at least they’re in my home doing it”. Huh? What in the tasty cake is that?
You’re allowing your kid to have sex upstairs while you’re in the house and actually give them condoms to keep it all “SAFE”?!!! You allow your kid to VAPE on the back deck because you think it’s better if they do this “at home” instead of trying to sneak off??!!! YOU allow your kid to watch porn in their room because really “it’s what this generation does… everyone is doing it”.
Nothing against my pals with teens, but you guys are idiots. I already know what the retort is going to be – so save it… “You don’t have kids. so you don’t understand”… Oh, but I do understand. I believe kids need parents. Parents. Not pals or buddies. ADULT HUMANS who create moral foundations in their lives with expectations and rules for living in the home they’re in that eventually will be applicable elsewhere in life after they leave the nest. Young people crave boundaries though they don’t know it; they want someone to help them through the confusion of the high school years and they want parents to positively affirm them and support them where possible. Though generations change with the “times” these are basic human attributes. Kids want their parents approval in some way. They don’t want to do crazy things, but they will if they know they can get away with it.
Parents who allow “whatever” and have a hands off approach are setting teens / kids up for failure as they will be low functioning adults incapable of handling the harshness of this world later in life. They will have zero life skills and an inability to hear “no” or face rejection. It’s a good thing I didn’t have kids because while I would have loved them to death, I also would have been firm and laid the groundwork for IN MY HOME… here’s how we roll.
Once you’re 18, fine, get an apartment… go, but as for me and THE JEN house… here’s the handbook. Story after story after story these days has to do with politics, OR crime / youth. If these young people have no work ethic or value anything, how do you think this story is gonna’ end? Listen, I’m not saying I have all the answers… but I have some. Parents, please PARENT. I’m begging you. Clean up the mess inside your own house before you stick your nose into another family’s mess. Pretty simple. Stay in your lane… and parent your child before it’s too late. I’m sure this won’t be popular this week… but I don’t care. AT ALL. KIDS are a mess these days…
Just sayin’…

WHO SAID IT?
“All Americans, not only in the States most heavily affected, but in every place in this country, are rightly disturbed by the large number of illegal aliens entering our country. The jobs they hold would otherwise be held by citizens or legal immigrants. The public service they use impose burdens on our taxpayers. That’s why our administration has moved aggressively to secure our borders more by hiring a record number of new border guards, by deporting twice as many criminal aliens as ever before, and by barring welfare benefits to illegal aliens. In the budget I will present to you, we will try to speed the deportations of illegal aliens who are arrested for crimes to better identify illegal aliens in the workplace as recommended by the Commission headed by former Congresswoman Barbara Jordon. We are a nation of immigrants, but also a nation of laws. It is wrong and self-defeating for a nation of immigrants to permit this kind of abuse of immigration laws we have seen in recent years and we must do more to stop it.”
– President Bill Clinton, State of the Union address 1996
Bill Clinton received a standing ovation for these comments.
Trump says this in 2025… and he’s a racist.

Hi,
I particularly agree with you when it comes to parenting.
However, don’t violate your own rules.
In other words, don’t smoke or drink in the home, or the car, or wherever. if you’re expecting your kid to abstain.
Marge
lol. Love the Clinton quote!
The Mandela effect is truly strange. Had that happen to me more than once.
Totally agree about parents. My parents loved me but for different reasons, by high school they were not even monitoring me, let alone engaging me in any meaningful way. It’s a bad time to be stumbling around trying to figure things out on your own. It made me so careful to stay very close to my sons as they were growing up. Makes a huge difference!!
As Always, Your Political Correctness Is RIGHT ON POINT!!
