WHY IS EVERYONE TRUSTING HAMAS?

People… this pains me to say it… but, you’re being played. I know many people feel great right now because of what transpired in the Middle East, all the living Israeli hostages have been released, and TRUMP is getting the “GOOD JOB” high fives he so richly deserves…(a rarity in POLITICS)….BUT, trusting HAMAS is like trusting SATAN. THEY’VE already reneged on several main points of the 1ST PHASE of this peace deal/ceasefire and believing that HAMAS somehow turned over a new leaf overnight is like believing that a used car salesman has your best interest at heart when you walk on to his lot.

It’s fantasy… a scam… it ain’t real. Unlike a lot of folks I know these days, I choose to see the world as it is. Not as I want it to be. That can be a dreadfully lonely place at times because so many people and families operate from a “If we don’t discuss It – it doesn’t exist” mentality or a “If I don’t see it or hear it – it doesn’t exist” mentality. Listen, I get it. You’re protecting your peace and sanity and want to live in a world and believe in a world where people don’t video tape the suffering of others for clicks rather than help them when they’re in need… but….that’s who we have become as society. Somewhere along the way we have become seriously confrontational over the tiniest of offenses, completely self-absorbed and insanely dishonest. THAT’S NOT ME you exclaim???  Right.

Dishonesty is “the check is in the mail” (when it’s not) – telling someone “I’ll call you back, Fred – someone just walked into my office” (and never ever plan to return that call) or selling someone a bill of goods because you want to make a buck. It’s also useful to avoid confrontation or looking like the a$$ you may very well be so we lie. Politicians are the worst, but that’s for another column. We have become insanely dishonest… ABOUT anything and EVERYTHING.

THE POINT IS – try getting rid of the nasty habit of lying for one day and see how difficult it is. WE have been trained to lie to one another and think nothing about it.

Now, imagine being a member of HAMAS. What makes you think THEY will change being evil, demonic, and dishonest over night? Ya, they won’t and can’t. If it’s that hard for you to get through a day without lying how hard do you think it is for a terrorist not to be a terrorist in the middle east? I’m dead serious.

While I’d love world peace, neighbors that aren’t insane, and all animal suffering to end, it’s not gonna happen. Neither is this a “peace deal”.  Yes, we got the hostages back and that’s a miracle! Praise god. But, I need people to come back to Earth here. It’s been 48 hours since the signing of this peace accord, and Hamas is back to being Hamas. A spokesperson said late Monday…

“Hamas won’t give up arms or Gaza control — despite agreeing to Trump deal, spokesman says.” (Source NYP)

Hamas will never change. Hamas is not interested in PEACE, and HAMAS cannot be trusted. Jihad is in their DNA. That’s not negative thinking… it’s reality.

See things as they are. Not as you want them to be.

DIANE KEATON 

Another Hollywood star has gone home to the big stage in the sky, and I have to say, this one hurt. I’ve always LOVED Diane Keaton and just loved her gift and her films. I first discovered her in “Annie Hall” as a kid on channel 56 one Saturday afternoon long ago, but when I saw her in “REDS” in 1982 at 14, that was it. I was hooked on her and her work. I’m not going to go on and on about her life or film credentials, but I will blab about her fearlessness in being herself and who she was as a person.

Outside of her acting, her 100% commitment to being herself without being influenced by whatever or whomever was so refreshing, rare and worthy of a standing ovation. I’ve said many, many times here before, people wear masks all over the globe. The minute many people leave their homes and step out into the world, on goes a mask. They become who they need to be to get through whatever they need to get through rather than free style it and be themselves. How often do you say what you want to say? Or look how you want to look or do what you want to do? (In a manner of respectful living, mind you).

Diane Keaton didn’t care. She was who she was…. did her own thing and though some called her wacky or ugly (for her personal style) she just kept being herself. As I grew older, I admired her authenticity. Yes, it’s true there are various kinds of bravery, running into a burning house to save someone kind of bravery… hosting a PODCAST bravery, saying NO to people bravery, aging without BOTOX kind of bravery and being YOUR TRUE AUTHENTIC SELF bravery. Diane Keaton didn’t wear a mask, didn’t get Botox and she was simply…. Diane Keaton. What you saw was what you got and that was that.

I will miss this role model. It was a rarity to see that kind of person and I appreciated her willingness to say BLEEP OFF. I am who I am.

Ron used to say to me “you have to learn how to play the game in life Jen”…. I’d say, “I don’t know how”.

I’m beginning to think that this shortcoming of mine is actually an attribute in this crazy world full of sheeple and robots. Playing the game and pretending is overrated. Diane Keaton taught us all that.

ELIZABETH WARREN groaning on and on about how awful Christopher COLUMBUS was…. coming to America uninvited and doing damage to it… but supports the 10 million uninvited people who came here… over the last 4 years… doing damage to it

MAXINE WATERS recently comparing TRUMP and America to PUTIN, North Korea, and Kim Jong Un.
