Can anyone in their right mind REALLY say that everything in WASHINGTON goes smoothly? The people having meltdowns because voices were raised in the OVAL OFFICE have collectively lost their minds. Make no mistake though… it’s ALL PERFORMATIVE. Surely, we expect politicians to capitalize on the moment and try and behave as though we have never seen a heated congressional hearing.
THE recent RFK confirmation hearing alone was a reality TV SHOW complete with a BERNIE SANDERS OUTBURST and plenty of disrespect to go around… lt’s as if THESE people think we out here forgot about that INSANITY.
Then, there are the people screaming about how they WANT COMPLETE TRUMP TRANSPARENCY, but when they get a good dose of it, they can’t seem to handle the shaky ride. It has all the feels that many individuals just WANT ANY reason to hate on TRUMP. The guy was putting our interests FIRST and being STERN (BIDEN also got into verbal tussles with ZELENSKYY, BTW) and oftentimes making political policy is dirty work.
Lastly, I get a kick out of people who say BREATHLESSLY… “WELL, it HAPPENED in the OVAL OFFICE and it’s just so unbecoming and disrespectful”. Ya, save it. If you’re old enough to remember… Monica Lewinsky also happened in that same OVAL OFFICE. She wasn’t picking up pens under the Presidential desk people.
Just sayin’.

FOR THE RECORD
Some guy I’ve never heard of in a show on HBO called “THE LAST OF US” was recently on his Instagram account saying the most insane things. Virtue signaling gang… that’s all it was. People love to be “seen as” whatever these days and it’s just so nauseating. Don’t even get me started about all those folks on FB who posted the “I’M WITH UKRAINE” hearts after the heated convo between TRUMP and ZELENSKYY. OMG. Ask most who posted that to name ONE city Russia has NOW OCCUPIED or the history of the war, and I’m sure as my name ain’t BETTY, they couldn’t tell you anything about anything. My head just explodes some days from the stupidity.
ANYHOW, people love to be “seen as” self-righteous on the SOCIALS and this guy PEDRO PASCAL went on a tirade saying this… “I can’t think of anything more vile and small and pathetic then terrorizing the smallest most vulnerable community of people who WANT NOTHING FROM YOU except the right to exist”. He was speaking about the TRANS COMMUNITY.
First of all, that is such a croc of BS. Imagine, they want “nothing FROM YOU”… only, WOMEN’S SPORTS, AWARDS… and access to female spaces, places and opportunities even if it makes young women and girls “feel TERRORIZED” in locker rooms or lose out to BIOLOGICAL men regarding whatever. THAT TERROR doesn’t count for some reason. “THEY want “nothing”? Try again, PEDRO. THEY want A LOT. I can’t think of a more vulnerable group of people than young LADIES OR GIRLS who are trying to grow into who THEY are, while being told they have no voice, their concerns don’t matter, and their feelings, fears or confusion are hateful.
No PEDRO… sorry, pal. Men and boys can be whoever they want. The world is NOT denying ANYONE the “right to exist”… but, forcing your way into female spaces and taking (whatever) from them is denying women and girls THEIR “right to exist”. BIOLOGICAL FEMALES are actually the ones getting TERRORIZED by cultural extremists. I never thought I’d see the day when women would have to fight once again for basic rights and EQUALITY. That’s “VILE and SMALL and PATHETIC” if you ask me, PEDRO. For the record.

I can’t/won’t put it here but I bet you can guess why Demi Moore lost.
I don’t understand “trans” I really don’t but if guys want to compete as women then get a large group of MEN and give them female hormones – a lot of them – and then let those men compete with untreated men. Let them see how that feels. Regarding bathrooms etc – take the men’s spaces and cut them in half and let the trans folks use those, the men use the men’s space and the females use the female space. Everyone gets a spot and no one shares or needs to be nervous etc..

Me that the U.S didn’t make UKRAINE do anything. “When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, Ukraine had the world’s third largest nuclear arsenal on its territory. When Ukrainian-Russian negotiations on removing these weapons from Ukraine appeared to break down in September 1993, the U.S. government engaged in a trilateral process with Ukraine and Russia. The result was the Trilateral Statement, signed in January 1994, under which Ukraine agreed to transfer the nuclear warheads to Russia for elimination. In return, Ukraine received security assurances from the United States, Russia and Britain”. And so….. semantics matters.
Hi Jen, Yes, exactly, US had to “intervene” back in 1994. What I wrote still stands. We are not keeping our end of the agreement and they keep getting screwed. How are we to be trusted by any other country if we don’t keep our word? It’s shameful.

Regarding Ukraine, we (the US, irregardless of administration by either party) keep screwing them over and over again. All I have to say is read the Budapest Memoranda of 1994 where we made them transfer the third largest nuclear stockpile in the world to Russia in exchange of a security “guarantee” which was later reworded to “assurance” by the US (giving them their first screwing). In 2014 Russia broke that accord by annexing Ukraine’s Crimea. The US did not make any direct interventions to avoid a direct confrontation with Russia (second screwing). We now have the chance to make things right (again) and we side with the dictator from a country of communist history instead of the smaller democratic country. So, no, I’m not okay with last Friday’s ambush of a European president who just wants assurance of LASTING peace that we promised back in 1994 instead of having to get harassed to hand out more of their natural resources, with no guarantees, to the greedy American oligarchs (no, no regular American will actually see any of that resource, it’ll all go to big business).
As always, observant. Honest, and amusing. Last nights session of Congress was a perfect example of what’s wrong with the left. Like petulant children they act out because it’s just not my way! Holding up dumb signs, sitting on their hands and brains when they should be applauding someone. Or something good. Clowns like Al Green, the male Maxine waters, pulling a hissy fit. It was a treat to watch him paraded out.. The best part for me was when Trump addressed the Dems st his right, nothing that nothing he ever did Gould please them…. They had the past four years to make things better… they didn’t. So sit back, buckle up, and enjoy the ride. We know you’ll take every opportunity to hinder Trump’s efforts….
