Got a Big Idea for Rhode Island? Gov-elect Helena Foulkes wants to hear it
Got a Big Idea for Rhode Island? Share Your Recommendations with Governor-elect Helena Foulkes at helenatransition.com
Governor-elect Helena Buonanno Foulkes’ transition team has launched a website inviting Rhode Islanders to share ideas, apply for public service positions and follow plans for the incoming administration.
The site, helenatransition.com, welcomes suggestions from residents, business owners, students, state employees and community members, with particular interest in problems state government could address quickly.
The feedback will help the transition team identify priorities and potential fixes the new administration can pursue beginning on its first day in office.
“Rhode Islanders know what’s working, what isn’t, and what could be better. Whether you have a big idea or a simple fix, I want to hear it. We’re building a team to get results for Rhode Island, and the more we hear from people across our state, the better our plans for 2027 and beyond can be,” said Governor-elect Foulkes.
People interested in serving in state government, including at a state agency or on a board, can submit their resumes and experience through the website. Applications are welcome from experienced public servants, professionals considering a move into government and first-time applicants.
The transition team also announced its leadership staff: executive director Caitlin Molina, deputy director RJ Kermes, senior advisor Jon Romano, communications director Jon Carvalho, and public engagement liaisons Elisabeth Wales and Anthony Aquino.
A full transition committee and additional staff will be announced in the coming days.
