Gimme’ Shelter: Will “Olive” You Forever – at the RI SPCA with Cheryl Tudino

Hi there, I’m Cheryl, a volunteer at the RISPCA in Warwick-dog walker, treat dispenser, and part-time hype woman for our adoptable pups.
Kalamata olives, Black olives, Castelvetrano olives! If you love olives as much as we ‘olive’ this Olive, then look no further. Meet the RISPCA’s Olive! 🫒
She is a 9-year-old basset hound/beagle mix-basically a low riding, long-eared legend with a heart as big as an antipasto platter. Olive is the perfect mix of mellow and spunk-just like a dirty martini.
Olive is the kind of girl who is just as happy lounging beside you as she is doing a casual neighborhood strut (short legs, big confidence).
Her sweetness? Extra virgin. Her tail wags? Cold-pressed and 100% authentic. And those soulful eyes? Let’s just say… you will surrender your last bite of sandwich. Resistance is useless. This is not a drill.
Like many of us who have enjoyed a few too many cheese stuffed olives (this is a no judgment zone,, Olive), she is carrying a little extra “olive oil”- AKA weight. She will need a gentle, steady wellness plan with healthy meals, light exercise, and a lot of love. She will need less of an “all you can eat buffet,” and more of a “Mediterranean lifestyle.”
Why Olive?
If you are looking for a gentle, loving BFF who brings calm, charm, and the right amount of zest, this Olive might be the one missing from your martini. If Olive is already ‘olive-ing’ in your heart, apply to adopt this sweet girl today at https://www.rispca.org/adoptable-dogs or email [email protected] with any questions. Let’s make it official…don’t leave this love on the pit!
