Hi there, I’m Cheryl, a volunteer at the RISPCA in Warwick, full-time treat dealer, poop scoop enthusiast, and unpaid publicist for dogs who deserve way more followers than influencers.
This week I would like to introduce you to my favorite handsome meatball….Tyson AKA Sir Tyson the Meatball.
Today’s feature is a slow baked shelter classic: one handsome meatball, seasoned with charm, simmered in love, and served with a side of loyalty. This meatball doesn’t come from a fancy Italian kitchen; he comes from the shelter with extra marinara and even more heart.
Tyson is a big boy with an even bigger heart – and if love had a shape, it would be a four-legged 77-pound meatball. He is the definition of chill. He likes toys, likes people, and is convinced that personal space is just a myth that humans made up. Sometimes he is unaware of his own size, which means he believes he is still lap dog eligible. Sir Tyson the Meatball is a strong boy. Despite his strength, he remains a kind soul who would do well with a BFF with a little core strength.
He enjoys walks where he can politely show off his excellent leash manners, but he is also equally committed to the sacred art of doing absolutely nothing on the couch. Think: Netflix, snacks and a 77-pound meatball sandwich reminding you that you are his emotional support human now.
Tyson has previously lived with dog and cat siblings, so he’s got good social seasoning. He has not met children yet, so we are recommending slow introductions. Older children may be the best fit due to Tyson’s size and strength. This love bug would love a home with someone he can enjoy life with.
He truly is the bestest boy, and his new BFF will be lucky to have Tyson by their side. This boy is round, lovable, and ready to roll into your life. Adopt this handsome meatball before someone adds the sauce.

If you are looking for that perfect meatball that will add just the right amount of cheese to your life, apply to adopt Sir Tyson the Meatball today at https://www.rispca.org/adoptable-dogs or email [email protected] with any questions!
