Gimme’ Shelter: Achilles can be yours! Come fetch him at the RI SPCA – Cheryl Tudino
Hi there, I’m Cheryl, a volunteer at the RISPCA in Warwick.

Cheryl Tudino, RISPCA
I’m a dog walker, treat dispenser, and part-time hype woman for our adoptable pups.
Do you have an Achilles heel for big goofy dogs with an even bigger love to give? Well, meet your Achilles… Achilles!
Let me introduce amazing Achilles to you. He is a 1-year-old Rottweiler mix who perfectly combines sweetness, strength, and certified goofball energy. With his soulful eyes and constant “did you say snack?” expression, he has a special talent for making everyone around him smile, often without even trying.
This handsome boy lives for companionship. Whether it’s weekend adventures, car rides, or claiming the best spot on the couch for himself. Achilles just wants to be with you. He is smart, eager to please, and at the perfect age to keep learning great manners and cool tricks. Achilles is looking for a loving home where he can grow into the amazing dog he is meant to be. This boy is ready to steal your heart and your seat on the couch.
Achilles was found as a stray by our friends at the Providence Animal Rescue, so unfortunately, we don’t have information on how he does with other animals and young children. Because of his size and enthusiastic zest for life, we believe this boy would thrive best in a home with older children who can keep up with his big personality and bigger love.
Adopt Achilles. Warning: Side effects include laughter, messy kisses, and no room on the couch.
If you are ready to give in to your Achilles heel, you can apply to adopt Achilles today at https://www.rispca.org/adoptable-dogs .
