Get Your Holidays On! Warwick Winterfest – Opening of Greenwood Credit Union City Hall Plaza

The City of Warwick’s annual Winterfest had a soft opening last night and will have a debut of the new development next to its City Hall.

With the named – Greenwood Credit Union City Hall Plaza – in place, the transformed public space was on display as the new public skating rink had its “soft opening” on Wednesday. It is the focal point of the new and prominent community gathering space for Warwick and guests.

“This plaza is a project we’re incredibly proud of,” said Mayor Picozzi. “It’s a new centerpiece for our city—a place for families to gather, for events to be held, and for our community to come together throughout all seasons. We look forward to sharing it with the public soon, but first we’re excited to give our partners, supporters, and city team a first look.”

The Greenwood Credit Union City Hall Plaza project was made possible through strong partnerships and support from federal and local leaders, and Greenwood Credit Union, whose longstanding commitment to Warwick has played a key role in bringing this vision to life.
