For La Salle Academy students at 150 years

La Salle Academy honors 150-year history by investing in an inclusive future.

La Salle Academy has launched “Generations: The Campaign for La Salle Students”. The fundraising campaign has a $14 million goal and recognizes the Academy’s 150th anniversary.

As it launches its public phase, it already has raised $10 million, “thanks to key LaSalle leadership”. Funds raised will support three key areas: endowments, athletics, and the La Salle Fund.

Brother Dennis Malloy, President, La Salle Academy

“The campaign’s most significant priority is keeping La Salle accessible and affordable for all families; it ensures that deserving students, especially those from working class and underserved communities, have access to a rigorous, faith-based education,” explained Brother Dennis Malloy, president of La Salle Academy. For this reason, endowments are the cornerstone of ‘Generations’. Second is the athletics program – with a focus on building a field sports center. This facility, in addition to benefiting La Salle’s student-athletes, will be used by De La Salle Middle School. The La Salle Fund, which rounds off the campaign’s three key areas, keeps the school’s technology current, tuition stable, and helps with unexpected expenses, such as the recent investment to protect students and teachers during COVID-19.

Since La Salle Academy’s founding in 1871, the Catholic high school has provided students with a quality education, regardless of socioeconomic status. This long, proud history has been a solid foundation for many young people; one that’s helped them become leaders in their professions and communities. Generations: The Campaign for La Salle Students supports the Academy’s mission of creating opportunities for future generations – just as they’ve done for 150 years.
