Feelin’ the love…

Who isn’t brought to memories of years ago just watching these little ones make their Valentines for each other. What a year for love – what a year for the MLK Center in Newport to remind us of simpler, more loving times.

“You show love by being kind,” a Preschool student remarked.

There’s so much love to go around here at the MLK Center!

This past week, Preschool students enjoyed festive arts and crafts projects thanks to a generous contribution of art supplies from our friend Shelley Schorsch. Students made Valentines for their families, exchanged Valentines and treats with each other, and made festive bags to take their goodies home in! The activity featured writing prompts about love: who they love, what they love, things they love, and what it means to love.
