Art Providence Show, Nov. 8-10, 2019
The Art Providence Show is a juried show of high-caliber works of art, craft
and design that features artists from throughout New England and beyond,
including but not limited to RISD alumni.
It will be held at the Rhode Island Convention Center, this weekend, starting on Friday, Nov. 8th and continuing through Sunday, Nov. 10th.
Here is the agenda:
Friday, November 8
- 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- $10 per adult – Kids 12 and under free
- Get first dibs on one-of-a-kind works!
- Happy Hour from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM – FREE beverage voucher included with each paid entry (must be over 21). Vouchers will be distributed to paid ticket holders at the box office and can be redeemed at the cash bar until 7:30 p.m. Vouchers must be claimed at the Box Office by 6pm sharp and can be redeemed Friday only at the Cash Bar until 7:30pm.

Single Day Ticket – $10.00
Single day general admission on Friday, November 8 (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM), Saturday, November 9 (10:00 AM to 6:00 PM) or Sunday, November 10 (10:00 AM to 4:00 PM) for persons age 13 and up is $10. All attendees purchasing a ticket between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM on Friday, November 8 will receive a FREE beverage voucher redeemable at the cash bar (must be age 21).
Local Food Favorites (Additional Ticket Required)
Enjoy generous samples of area favorites at the Art Providence Show from 12:00
p.m. to 4:00 pm on Saturday, November 9 and 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday,
November 10. Food will also be available for purchase at Friday’s “Preview
Night” from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Awards of Excellence
Each year, 5 artists are recognized
with Awards of Excellence – 3 Awards of Artistic Excellence, 2 for Best Booth
Presentation and one to an emerging artist participating in our Early Stage
Artist Program. Our panel of judges this year includes the following
distinguished experts in the fields of art, craft and design:
Lisa Carnevale, Co-Founder and Executive Director, DESIGNxRI
Michael Lamar, Owner of Altamira Lighting, Senior Critic at RISD – Industrial Design
Amy Leidtke, Principal of Leidtke Design, Faculty – Industrial Design, RISD
Kelly Milukas – Award-winning multi-media artist, curator, and juror
