ART! Participate in first instructed plein air painting at the Warwick Center for the Arts
Meet at the Warwick Center for the Arts at 2pm on Saturday, April 26th. They will set up to work on the brick patio or anywhere that strikes your fancy in good ‘Ole Apponaug for their first plein air event! Beginners welcome! There will be extra easels setup for you!
Bring your paint, canvas and/or paper.
There is a $10 donation.
Aileen Monahan Quinn is the instructor
Aileen has been associated with WCFA since the 1990’s serving as a Board Member, Volunteer, Exhibiting Artist, Art Instructor for adults and children, and staff member.
After graduating from Butera School of Art in Boston, Graphic Arts /Sign Painting, Aileen worked as a Sign Artist throughout RI and MA for two decades. She established The Fresh Palette Art Studio at Parker Woodland in Coventry where all ages learned, practiced and shared their art. Aileen implemented an after school art program for elementary age students at Creative Child in Coventry, and continues to facilitate watercolor and art workshops at libraries throughout RI. She served as a Community Outreach Coordinator for Royal Crest International Student Youth Art. Art Association Memberships include Artist Cooperative Gallery of Westerly , Providence Art Club, Wickford Art Association, the RI Watercolor Society and of course, the Warwick Center for the Arts.
