ART! It’s Gallery Night Providence
March tours have been announced for Thursday, March 17th. FREE Tickets are available. Please note that one tour, the 6:30 pm trolley tour, will leave from and return to the WaterFire Arts Center. The other tours leave from and return to the Graduate Hotel.
About the 5:15pm event
We will leave at 5:15 pm from the Graduate Hotel, and return to the Graduate around 7:15 pm.
***We ask that you please wear a mask while aboard the trolley. Please be prepared to show proof of booster or a negative Covid test taken within 24 hours as some of the tour stops may require it for entry.**
This tour will be led by Gallery Night Guide Rosemary Rocchio, and we will visit:
- The Graduate, offering a behind-the scenes peek at the former Biltmore, a Providence landmark.
- AS220 Main Gallery, featuring ALIGNMENT, a visual art exhibit bringing together mental health awareness & astrology, by AS220 Youth Apprentices
- Galerie le Domaine at Domain Properties, showcasing local legend Umberto Crenca’s “Divine Providence” series
- The Gallery at the John Nicholas Brown Center for Public Humanities and Cultural Heritage, with two exhibitions and interactive programs that probe questions about art, memory, heritage, culture, and sensation, including a journey through the senses through coffee!
Some notes to help you out the night of the event!
- We recommend arriving to the Graduate 5 to 10 minutes before your tour time. One of our volunteers will be at a podium with a Gallery Night banner, near the main entrance, and will check you in and answer any questions!
- We do have a limited number of seats on the trolley! If your plans change, please remember to cancel your Eventbrite reservation so that someone else can enjoy the tour.
- Tours occasionally run late depending on traffic. We recommend allowing buffer time if you’re planning on attending another event after ours.

More of a spur of the moment kind of person?
While they encourage advance sign-ups for our tours, you can always head to the Graduate or WaterFire Arts Center (for 6:30 tour only) on Gallery Night to see if seats are available!
Not a tour kind of person?
Check out the Eventbrite pages linked above for more details of what exhibits are showing in each gallery.
On Gallery Night, you can go on your own and attend any of the open events that night, including multiple science-art explorations, possible alien interactions, and a demo of how coffee is made!
And of course we encourage you to visit our member galleries outside of Gallery Night too! Links to all of our member galleries’ sites can be found here on our website. Make sure you double check their hours before heading out!
Here are the other Gallery Nights – why not mark them down in your calendar for the future.
