ART! Flower Show at Attleboro Art Museum
The 2024 Theme – Festivals Around the World: Gardens in Celebration opens TODAY at the Attleboro Art Museum with a delightful splash of color.
• The Flower Show Event runs from TODAY, Thursday, March 21st – through – Sunday, March 24th, 2024
• Event Admission: Adults/seniors/students/museum members: $3 each day. Children 9 & under: free. Daily admission to the Flower Show event will be sold at the door. No reservations required, however large groups are encouraged to call the museum in advance so that we can best accommodate you! Call 508-222-2644 x13.
• Hours: Thursday – Saturday, 9:30am – 4:00pm. Sunday: 12:00pm – 4:00pm.
- The Museum is wheelchair accessible.
- Please contact the Museum at least two weeks in advance if accommodations, such as ASL interpreters, are required. 508-222-2644 x15 or [email protected]. We’re happy to assist, but do require advance notification.
- We ask that only collapsible strollers be brought to the Museum during the Flower Show. Large strollers or wagons will, at times, be difficult to maneuver at this popular event.

The Flower Show is one of the Museum’s most popular fundraising events. Its exhibitions appear throughout our facility and are typically seen by over 2,500 visitors. With a theme like Festivals Around the World: Gardens in Celebration, guests will be treated to interpretations of international celebrations such as Holi, Day of the Dead, Yi Peng Lantern Festival and more.

✼ Extremely Kid-friendly: While the Flower Show is designed to delight all ages, there are some attractions that will captivate children/families. Be sure to take in the entire event, but don’t miss out on these special attractions that kids will love!

- The Flower Show’s 2024 café, named “Tony’s Whistle Stop,” returns with a light lunch service and desserts. As in 2023, the café is dedicated to Tony Viveiros of Attleboro, MA, a dear friend and supporter of the Attleboro Arts Museum. Tony, a loyal Flower Show volunteer, passed away December 2019.
- Menu for each day will include (subject to change due to availability):
- Sandwiches (with potato chips): 1. Roast Beef and Cheddar on Pretzel Hero, 2. Rainbow Veggie on Multigrain Ficelle, 3. Roasted Turkey and Swiss on Multigrain Hero.
- Salads (with potato chips): 1. Cobb, 2. “Picnic Basket” (Cooked apple, Craisins, feta, baby kale, baby arugula, baby spinach, radicchio, balsamic vinegar).
- Desserts: Assorted cookies.
- Beverages: Coffee, tea, spring water.
- Cut Flower and Live Plant Sale (while supplies last) – Ottmar Gallery/Gift Shop
- An expanded Museum Gift Shop – Ottmar Gallery
- Beautiful accessories, home goods, fashions, toys, and other products that are either handmade by local artists or manufactured for savvy customers fill the Museum’s expanded gift shop during the Flower Show. Partial proceeds from the sale of a handcrafted item supports the artist that created the piece as well as the Museum – while sales from mass produced items benefit the Museum. In all cases, gift shop purchases support and endorse the arts.

- “Give and Get Back”: Donate to the Flower Show and get a handcrafted item as thanks for your support. The names of all donors will be displayed throughout the Flower Show. You can order in advance or at the event. Donations levels are set from $10 – $100 – Ottmar Gallery
- People’s Choice Voting: Vote for your favorite floral and landscape display, nature-themed work of art and magic flute. Winners will be announced on www.attleboroartsmuseum.org after Tuesday, March 26th. There will be no in-person closing ceremonies in 2024.
- Live art from a talented team of professionals (see schedule below) – Ottmar Gallery
- In addition to the major garden installations, unique floral arrangements of natural materials are a popular Flower Show tradition. This year’s floral artists will be using their skills to represent the globe by designing with plants, flowers, and other organic supplies.
