Just days after being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, former New England Patriots kicker and four-time Super Bowl champion Adam Vinatieri will be honored at the fourth annual Clays 4 Charity event at The Preserve Sporting Club & Resort in Richmond.

The “Hall of Fame Edition” will be held Friday, August 14, bringing together amateur, celebrity and experienced shooters for a day of sporting clays, entertainment and fundraising.

Proceeds will primarily benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which supports veterans, first responders and their families. Additional funds will be shared with the Geronimo Foundation, a 2026 beneficiary, and the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation.

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation was established in memory of FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller, who died while responding to the September 11 attacks. The organization provides mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first-responder families, builds specially adapted homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders, and operates programs addressing veteran homelessness.

The event is hosted by Preserve Chairman Paul Mihailides, who has helped build Clays 4 Charity into an annual fundraising event. This year’s program will include a special tribute to Vinatieri, a longtime friend of Mihailides. Both are scheduled to speak during the morning kickoff.

“It’s an honor to host this fourth annual event and to celebrate my friend Adam on his Hall of Fame induction,” Mihailides said. “This is one of the greatest days in the sporting clays world, and it’s all in support of those who serve.”

The Preserve’s two sporting clays courses will anchor the day, but participants will also have access to fly fishing, an indoor shooting range, paintball, an obstacle course, axe throwing, chainsaw carving, lawn games and vendor exhibits.

The competition will be followed by a dinner prepared by chef David Burke, a live auction and an evening of live music.

This year’s performers include Nashville Americana singer-songwriter Dave Kennedy, guitarist and mandolinist Andy Wood and platinum-selling country artist Tyler Farr. Farr is known for the country hits “Redneck Crazy” and “A Guy Walks Into a Bar.”

The evening will conclude with “Adam’s After Party.”

Registration begins at $599 for an individual shooter and includes participation on both courses, the day’s activities, breakfast, lunch, dinner and admission to the after-party.

Additional options include:

  • Foursome: $2,249
  • Station Sponsor package: $4,400
  • Dinner and evening-only admission: $250

The Station Sponsor package includes a company banner displayed on the course and recognition during the event. A limited number of sponsorship opportunities remain, and organizers are also accepting raffle items, silent-auction contributions and in-kind donations.

Event partners include Needham Bank, Blaser, SIG Sauer, Fly Alliance and Swarovski Optik.

The Preserve Sporting Club & Resort spans approximately 3,500 acres in Richmond and features sporting clays courses, an indoor shooting range, upland hunting, stocked fishing ponds and resort accommodations.
