Joe Andruzzi Foundation 18th Annual Golf Tournament: $300,000+ for local Cancer Patients, Families

Annual fundraiser presented by Bob’s Discount Furniture featured the launch of JAF’s first-ever Adopt-A-Family Challenge

The Joe Andruzzi Foundation, which provides help, hope and a reason to smile for New England cancer patients and their families by providing financial support when it is needed most, hosted its 18th Annual Joe Andruzzi & Friends Golf Tournament, presented by Bob’s Discount Furniture, on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Black Rock Country Club in Hingham, Massachusetts.

The annual tournament brought together JAF supporters, sponsors, community partners and friends of the Foundation for a day of golf and fundraising in support of New England cancer patients and families. This year’s tournament raised more than $300,000 to help provide direct assistance for essential needs such as transportation to treatment, heating costs, housing, food and other household expenses during treatment.

The 2026 tournament also featured the launch of JAF’s first-ever Adopt-A-Family Challenge, an on-course giving opportunity created to connect golfers with patient stories and encourage additional support for families facing cancer. Throughout the day, golfers learned more about the real-life impact of JAF’s work and were invited to make contributions to help ease the financial burden that often comes with a cancer diagnosis.

“As the need continues to rise across New England, we are incredibly grateful to our sponsors, golfers, donors and community partners who continue to show up for patients and families when they need it most,” said Jen Andruzzi, Co-Founder, President & CEO of the Joe Andruzzi Foundation. “The support from this tournament helps provide real relief for families facing cancer, from transportation to treatment and household bills, food, housing and other essential needs.

To date, JAF has provided more than $14.1 million in assistance to cancer patients and families throughout New England.

The day also included special guests and friends of the Foundation, including Patriots alumni Dante Scarnecchia, Max Lane and Russ Hochstein, WBZ CBS News media personality Jacob Wycoff, on-course activations, NOBULL prize giveaways, and the Hole 2 Beat the Pro Challenge with former Patriots David Andrews and Brian Hoyer, all helping to raise awareness and support for JAF’s mission.

About The Joe Andruzzi Foundation:

The Joe Andruzzi Foundation is committed to providing help, hope, and a reason to smile, for New England cancer patients and their families by contributing financial support when it is needed most. Founded in 2008 by former New England Patriots three-time Super Bowl Champion offensive guard Joe Andruzzi and his wife Jen, the Joe Andruzzi Foundation grew out of Joe’s own successful battle with cancer. In 2007, Joe’s football career abruptly ended when he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Burkitt’s lymphoma. Disease-free less than a year later, Joe and Jen chose to dedicate their lives towards solving the financial distress a cancer diagnosis can cause in the lives of patients and families.
