Rhode Island Weather for April 17, 2026
Morning: Expect mild and mostly cloudy to partly sunny conditions starting out, with temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s°F. Light winds and moderate humidity will make it feel comfortable for early activities or commuting, though a few lingering clouds from overnight may keep things from being fully bright at first.

Afternoon: The day warms nicely as temperatures climb into the upper 60s to low/mid 70s°F (potentially reaching around 72°F in many spots). Skies should trend toward a mix of sun and clouds, with a light to moderate breeze (likely from the south or southeast). It will feel pleasant for outdoor time, though humidity may rise a bit and there could be a small chance of an isolated shower depending on how any clouds develop.
Evening: Temperatures will gradually cool into the mid to upper 50s°F as the sun sets around 7:30 PM. Clouds may increase again later in the evening, with winds remaining noticeable but not overly strong. Conditions stay mostly dry overall, though a slight risk of light showers or sprinkles could arrive toward late evening or overnight as any weather systems approach.
It’s a “B+” Day!
