RI Weekend Weather Wrap – Sat/Sun, June 27/28 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
A couple of bouts of low pressure roll on through this weekend putting a slight damper on some of our outdoor plans.
Saturday 6/27/20:
A warm front moves in during the afternoon with some showers starting around 1pm and lasting through about 8pm. Rain will be mostly light and scattered in nature, but there could be a few minutes here and there of slightly heavier rain until the back end of this system clears through in the evening. Morning lows in the mid 60’s rise to the low 80’s with high humidity and that wetness I spoke of above in the afternoon.
Sunday 6/28/20:

A second, less intense area of low pressure sweeps into southern New England with some light showers expected in a similar time period as Saturday, from early to late afternoon. Morning lows in the muggy high 60’s rise to the low 80’s in the cloudy and sparsely wet afternoon.
