How nice of the state to open and charge admission — otherwise we wouldn’t be able to go there and walk or sit in the 50 degree temps and cool off in the second week of May. Which is to say, the second week of May is not beach season — so maybe stop the money grab? And in typical state fashion, it probably cost more to open and staff the cloudy cool sand pits than any revenue that was gotten. And the state’s magnificent work at Sand Hill Cove — forget aboud it.
