PASSINGS

James Harrison, 88, donated his rare blood for 60 years – estimated to save 2.4 million babies. He lived in Sydney, Australia. His blood contained Anti-D, an antibody given during pregnancy to prevent hemolytic disease of the newborn, which could result in stillbirth and neonatal death.
