Rhode Island Weather for February 2, 2025 – Jack Donnelly
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
A weak pre-frontal trough will extend east from the primary low pressure system developing over the Great Lakes and will trigger snow showers beginning in the evening hours and carry through the night leaving us with up to 2 inches of the white stuff by Monday morning. Morning lows in the frigid single digits and evening highs around 30 with a light east-southeasterly breeze.
Happy Groundhog Day!
