Businesses: Reopening RI – Control Plan is due May 18.

If YOU are open for business tomorrow – you must complete your Control Plan by Monday, May 18th. If you are getting a later start, here is a summary and some resources to get all the information you need.

The most important part is to complete your COVOD-19 Control Plan. A template is on the website ReOpeningRI.com – it looks like this – and note the link immediately under the template photo:

This document should be kept on file. The RI Department of Health, working with CommerceRI will have inspectors paying visits to workplaces to check on how prepared you are, to look at your Control Plan, and to help you complete any steps you are having problems with and to provide you resourices.

All currently operating businesses must complete and sign the following checklist indicating that you have reviewed the State of Rhode Island guidelin es and completed the COVID-19 Control Plan template, which is due by May 18. Non-critical retailers are now permitted to reopen for Phase I and must also complete and sign the checklist indicating compliance with the non-critical retail business guidelines.

Screening! You are responsible for screening – here is the form that you should print and familiarize yourself with – also show it to your employees so they know what questions they will be asked;
