“Home of the Brave” for Nurses Week at Linn Health and Rehab
Lily Bolarinho, an East Providence High School sophomore who performed the National Anthem on trumpet outside of Linn Health & Rehabilitation nursing home during a shift change today. The performance was in honor of the many heroic nurses and healthcare workers, on National Nurse’s Day (May 6). Linn employees came outside to enjoy the patriotic song, and nurses and staff looked on through windows on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
Aldersbridge Communities CEO Richard Gamache introduced Lily. The two employees holding the “Heroes Work Here” banner are, from left: Chris Lema (maintenance department) and Andres Delacruz (housekeeping).
Lily, a member of the East Providence High School marching band, has been performing the National Anthem for local police and fire departments over the last several weeks in order to enhance community support for their work during these trying times.
