RI Weather Today, Wednesday 4/8/20
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
A low pressure system skirts by mainly to our south, but not without the trough extension reaching into southern New England and making a small liquid deposit into our aquifers. Rain should be light, and ending within a couple of hours of a cloudy sunrise, after which cloud cover will break up a bit allowing for temps to rise somewhat to a cool-ish afternoon high around 50 from a moist morning low in the mid 40’s.
