RI Weather Today, Friday 3/13/20
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Frontal system rolls through during the morning with light to moderate rain heavy at times in places, and the possibility of a distant peal of thunder. It is a vigorous front, and the winds along it will be fairly strong and gusty, shifting from southeasterly to southwesterly as the front passes through the area. We may see partial clearing later in the afternoon and evening as some drier air works into the region from the northwest.
Morning lows in the low 40’s will rise into the upper 50’s and low 60’s on the strong southerly flow in the rain, winds gusting into the 30-40 mph range.
Friday the 13th indeed….
