Gimme’ Shelter – Sky is at the Providence Animal Control Center

Hello! I am a 4 year old guy who came in as a stray. I am very nice and a good boy, especially once we become friends. I take treats gently, and I don’t get overly excited. Refreshing for a husky, right?!

When I do get the zoomies, I calm nicely after my short bursts, and I have a medium energy. I might even be good with other dogs once I get to know them. I am a nice all around friend to have – Please send an email about me!

The Providence Animal Control Division protects the health and safety of our residents and their pets with progressive leadership and education. We do this by engaging the hearts and minds of the community to help all animals.

Since 2015, we have adopted a “low risk euthanasia” philosophy of healthy adoptable animals. We will continue to improve the live release rate of shelter animals via adoptions, returning strays to their owners, transferring animals to rescues, TNR, programs/services and treating medical cases. We believe that with progressive programs, we can have a more humane City. Through our Gimme Shelter program, PAC is spaying and neutering owned and feral cats for Providence residents.
