As much as we may like to think, Winter is not dead yet, as far as chilly conditions are concerned. We’ll feel the brunt of a late February rush of cool continental air chilled effectively by high winds blustering in from the west courtesy of a tight pressure gradient set up by the existing trough of low pressure over head and high pressure driving in from the northwest. Morning lows in the upper 20’s will feel like the low teens, rudely awakening early risers.
