New Dog Park in Tiverton opens
The Raymond F. Jones Memorial Dog Park officially opened its gates Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 10:00am to an excited crowd of spectators (and their human companions).
This community park was a labor of love as 90% of all work on the grounds was completed by volunteers. A Grand Opening Celebration will take place later this summer.

The park is named as a memorial to Tiverton’s former Animal Control Officer Raymond F.
Jones who passed away in 2019. His family was on site to commemorate the opening.
The Raymond F. Jones Memorial Dog Park provides a clean, safe and secure place for large and small canine friends and their humans to exercise and socialize. Its location, adjacent to our town’s library, recreation area, and Sandywoods, aims to enhance opportunities for all residents of Tiverton and our region, to meet and enjoy our town. The park is named in honor of the late Raymond F. Jones, Tiverton’s longtime animal control officer and friend of all animals.
