Business Beat: Top real estate advisor, Pam Hogan, opens new brokerage
Top Real Estate Advisor Opens New Brokerage – Luxury Rhode Island Real Estate Brokerage Celebrates Advisor’s Milestone
Engel & Völkers of East Greenwich recently celebrated Pam Hogan, real estate advisor and good friend, at the grand opening of her own brokerage, Pam Hogan Homes.
Pam has been an industry leader for almost a decade, and she has been a real estate advisor
with Engel & Völkers since 2020. Opening her own brokerage has been a longstanding goal. Her
parents owned a brokerage in Vermont for 30 years and Pam continues her family’s real estate
legacy with her daughter, Jillian, under her wing.
“It has been incredible to be on this journey with Joe and Emilio,” says Pam. “I watched them take
things to the next level by opening their own brokerage. To say that being part of that process
inspired me to do the same is a huge understatement.”
Real estate is in Pam’s blood and she has consistently been a top performer. She has received
the Circle of Sales Excellence award in silver multiple times by the Greater Providence Board of
Realtors. Her team at Engel & Völkers achieved the gold award for sales exceeding $10 million
in 2021.
“We will miss Pam deeply,” says Emilio DiSpirito, co-owner of Engel & Völkers. “However, we
fully support her dream, stand with her, and we know she is going to continue to be one of the top real estate agents in Rhode Island and will run a successful brokerage of her own!”
Pam began her career in real estate in 2013 after a 20-year career as a legal assistant. Her
parents had encouraged her to go into real estate since she was young, but she didn’t begin her
career until shortly after her mom lost her battle with breast cancer. While Pam wishes her mom
could see her today, her dad has been by her side to celebrate this important milestone.
Her daughter, Jillian, is a senior in high school. She qualified for early exit, so she took advantage
of that time to complete the RI Association of Realtors pre-license course requirement and she is
now studying for the salesperson’s exam while she awaits graduation. Jillian will be assisting with
the marketing at Pam Hogan Homes. She will begin to build her own book of business once she
becomes licensed.
Pam serves on the programs committee for the Kent Washington Association of Realtors and is
a member of the Greater Providence Board of Realtors. She is a member of the RI Association
of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
“Leaving Engel & Völkers is bittersweet. They’ve all become like family to me. I appreciate and
admire them all so much,” says Pam. “But I know we will continue to cheer each other on, and I
am eternally grateful for all that the Engel & Volkers team has done.”
