Each week Joe Paolino, Jr. interviews people of interest on his program, “In The Arena”.  The show airs at 7am on Sundays on ABC6.

This week his guest is the RI Speaker of the House, Joseph Shekarchi.

They discuss negotiations at the State House, working with members of both parties, the budget, bonds, taxes, and what may be coming up in the special and next sessions. They also talk about Providence being the “wild, wild west” and in need of help to make the city safer, and potential uses for the Superman building.
