Get Your Holiday(s) On! – La Salette opens tonight

The 2019-2020 Christmas Festival of Lights at the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette opens at 5pm Thanksgiving night. This year’s theme is “The Light of Hope”.

The Festival of Lights will run each day from 5pm to 9pm until Sunday, January 5^th.

The 300,000 lights will illuminate over 10 acres of this free event. Donations are always appreciated.

Traffic can get very heavy on weekends, especially Saturday night. If you can plan your trip for a weekday, you will find getting in is easy in comparison.  If you come on the weekend, the advice is to arrive before 4:30 PM to miss the traffic.  

The exhibit features:

• International Creche museum with hundreds of creches from around the world, 5-9pm weekdays and 2-9pm weekends.
• The Outdoor Creche of Bethlehem featuring a candle lit with a flame from Bethlehem, Israel.
• Concerts with Father Pat and various artists. 
• Fr. Pat’s Friday-Sunday 3 PM and 7 PM -No Concerts on Saturday, December 7
