The all new enamel Daffy Pins are now available at Black Dog, the Mansion Store and the Bowen’s Wharf Pilot House for $5.00. Wear your pin and visit select Newport stores and restaurants and get a “Daffy Deal.” All proceeds go to Newport in Bloom’s Free daffodil bulb give-away this fall.

Tour des Jonquilles Bike Ride – April 11th
Decorate your bike, don your daffiest gear and join other daffy riders for an easy 3-mile ride to view beds of over 1 million daffodils throughout Newport, ending at Ballard Park where over 20,000 flowers will greet us. Prizes for the best bike and daffiest outfit!
Or you can make your own Daffodil bike rides any day any time – follow this route for a self-guided ride or make your own! Daffies are all over the City and in bloom throughout April.
Go ahead and get daffy! We’d love to see you in your daffy best, be sure to tag us on social media @bikenewportri. We’ll surprise some of the daffiest with Bike Newport water bottles!

Driving Miss Daffodil – April 17th
The Audrain Automobile Museum partners with Newport Daffodil Days to host the 7th Annual Audrain Automobile Museum’s “Driving Miss Daffodil”. This is an opportunity to celebrate the 1,200,000 daffodils planted throughout Newport. Fifty vehicles, starting at Easton’s Beach, will cruise throughout the City of Newport, Ocean Drive and ending on Bellevue Avenue at the Audrain Automobile Museum. Participants are encouraged to decorate their vehicles (and themselves!) in their best daffodil themed attire with awards to the best “draffy dressed.”
Cost: $50.00 per vehicle. Limited to the first 50 sign-ups. Participants receive:
- Free admission to the Audrain Automobile Museum (guest passes redeemable within 1 year of the parade)
- A $10 voucher to La Forge Casino Restaurant
Gather at Easton’s Beach on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 8 am (rain date April 18). All participants will remain in their vehicles for the entirely of the event as to ensure social distancing. If participants step out of their vehicles at any point, they are required to wear a face mask.

Daffodil Days Tour & Talk – April 27th
During a special Daffodil Days Tour and Talk, curated and led by Dan Christina, Chief Horticulturist of the gardens, learn about the 15,000 daffodils in bloom representing 40 varieties in all 13 Divisions. Green Animals is an accredited Daffodil Display Garden by the American Daffodil Society. 10% Discount to the Gardens with Daffodil Pin. Limited attendance. RSVP to [email protected]

Daffily decorated storefronts
Newport’s merchants have been challenged to “get the yellow out” and create their daffiest storefront windows. Visit the shops (wearing your daffy pin for a daffy deal!) and then vote for your favorite on the Newport Daffodil Days Facebook page.
