RI Weather Today, Monday, Nov. 18, 2019
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Light rain developing early with a cool airmass to the northwest of an occluded frontal system rolling out to sea. There will be some mixing with snow and frozen precipitation, particularly in the northwestern Rhode Island hills. Temperatures will have a tight range from the upper 30’s to around 40 through the day. Winds will be up and gusting towards 25 mph, enough to drive home the cool wet air for a high misery index. Wish I had better news, but this will be a forgettable Monday.
