Total Asset Solutions Builds, Donates Picnic Table

The holiday giving season has already impacted one North Smithfield-based company who aided a local non-profit company that recently suffered a cruel loss.

When business Owner Ilanna Ball heard about a picnic table that was taken from Franklin Farm on Abbott Valley Farm Road in Cumberland, she did something about the situation. Her employees built and delivered a new picnic table to the Farm.

Ball said it was not only the right thing to do, but that it is part of her mission to help others whenever possible.

“Franklin Farms is an all-volunteer organization committed to growing food, which they donate to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank and others with food insecurities,” said Ball. “They do wonderful work for the community. In 2019, Franklin Farm donated more than 35,000 pounds of fresh veggies. So, for anyone to come here and take a table from the Farm is mindboggling. We decided the right thing to do was to build a new one for them.”
