Gimme’ Shelter: A little SUNSHINE at the RI SPCA – Cheryl Tudino
by Cheryl Tudino, contributing writer
Hi there, I’m Cheryl, a volunteer at the RISPCA in Warwick, full-time treat dealer, poop scoop enthusiast, and unpaid publicist for dogs who deserve way more followers than influencers.
Today I would like to introduce you to a little bit o’ Sunshine. ☀️ She is ready to make your life a whole lot brighter.
“I got Sunshine on a cloudy day…”🎵And boy, do we have the girl to prove it! Sunshine, the four-legged ray of sunshine who is ready to brighten up someone’s life, one tail wag at a time. Forget your morning cup of coffee, your happy-hour cocktail, or that expensive light therapy lamp. This sweet girl is bringing all the good vibes, and she doesn’t even need batteries.
Sunshine is a happy girl with playful energy, a big personality, and enough enthusiasm to make you wonder if she has been secretly listening to Motown all day. She will bring happy rays into her forever home and turn even the cloudiest days into something worth wagging about.
Now, a little housekeeping before you start planning your duet: Sunshine has no known history of meeting other dogs, felines, or children, so introductions will need to be slow and thoughtful. We want her happily singing “Ain’t no mountain high enough” with her new family, not rushing the first verse.
So, if your life could use a little more sunshine, a lot more laughter, and a furry BFF who makes every day feel like a summer afternoon, Sunshine is waiting for you. This perfect girl is just waiting for a home to call her own and a chance to shine brightly.
