28+ agencies to offer information at Community Resource Fair, May 12th. Sponsored by RI Energy

A free Community Resource Fair will be held on MONDAY, May 12th from 2pm to 6pm at the West Warwick Senior Center, 145 Washington Street in West Warwick, RI.

The Resource Fair is designed primarily for families and individuals struggling with utility payments.

Representatives from RI Energy Customer Assistance will be there. They will have information on these programs: Discount rate – Payment plans – Budgets – Protections – Arrears Management Program that the company offers. Participants are encouraged to bring everything with them they need to set up plans such as their Medicaid card and SNAP card.

Also present will be representatives of the Rhode Island General Treasurer’s office “Unclaimed Property Division” – see if you might have any unclaimed funds held by the state of Rhode Island.
