13-year-old Rhode Islander writes best-selling book inspired by The Lighthouse Inn

While most thirteen-year-old kids are looking at Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok, Nicholas Bramble has been imagining a new beginning to a run-down mountain resort. His thoughts and ideas have helped him create a new children’s adventure book which has just debuted as a Best “new release” on Amazon. The new book, called Adventures at Bramble Woods is a ninety-nine-page hard-cover chapter book designed, illustrated, and written by a thirteen-year-old honor student.

Inspired by the Lighthouse Inn, in Narragansett, Rhode Island, and the hotels and mountains in New Hampshire, the debut book is a suspenseful adventure to re-imagine a long-forgotten hotel and bring it back to its better days.

Nicholas says, “When I see an abandoned building, I think about what it once was, and, what it could be. So, I imagine what I would do with it if I owned the buildings, which included writing my thoughts on pieces of paper, and my IPAD.” In between the writing, Nicholas used his experience as a talented artist to draw illustrations for the book. After two years of writing, scanning, drawing, learning, and pondering how to get the book done, he finally completed the book, and self-published it on Amazon.

Amazon says about the young author: “Nicholas Bramble is a hardworking young writer with an undeniable imagination! He delivers smiles to all those who meet him. Nicholas’ musical and artistic abilities add to his creations. His days and nights are filled with stories and artwork that he wishes to share with family and friends. This is just the beginning of what is yet to come by this wonderful young writer!”
