Your Weekend Weather Wrap – Sat/Sun, Feb. 13/14
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Saturday 2/13/21:
A chorus line of low pressure systems will be marching by to our south over the next couple of days, and we’ll catch a bit of it late Saturday in the form of some mixed rain and snow beginning after 7pm and lasting until 6 or 7am Sunday morning. High pressure will be helping to keep us mostly north of the action. High in the afternoon in the upper 20’s from morning lows in the teens with a light northerly breeze.
Sunday 2/14/21:
Once things dry up in the morning, warmer air will move in through the afternoon. Warmer is a relative term of course, so highs will crawl into the low 30’s from morning lows in the upper 20’s under the same light northerly breeze. Cloud cover will stick around given the proximity to the frontal boundary on which the low pressure centers ride off the coast.
