Your Weekend Weather Wrap – Sat/Sun, Dec 19/20, 2020

High pressure builds in the low levels Saturday, yet high clouds will spill over the top later in the day as low pressure develops over the mid Atlantic states in the afternoon. Morning lows in the chilly teens lifting to the mid 30’s under the blanketing cloud cover with a light winds generally out of the southwest.
Sunday 12/20/20:
Low pressure makes it onto the region with rain developing by the afternoon. No gully-washers, just some light rain that will eat away some of the snow pack, along with the above freezing temperatures, highs expected in the upper 30’s from morning lows in the mid 20’s, light winds from the southwest.
