Your RI Weekend Weather Wrap – Sat/Sun, March 20/21, 2021
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Saturday 3/20/21:
First day of Spring!
High pressure settles in for the weekend, so winds should finally die down and we can then feel the abundant sunshine and it’s welcome warmth. Morning lows will still hover around the freezing point, and then warm to the mid 50’s, a bit higher here and there. Westerly winds light, and no significant gusts. Finally.
Sunday 3/21/21:

Still clear and dry, as high pressure oozes over the area. Morning lows again will settle around freezing, and afternoon temps warm to around 60 with a light southerly breeze.
Easy forecast!
