Your RI Weekend Weather Wrap – April 10, 11, 2021
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Saturday 4/10/21:
Another good day on tap to start the weekend, morning lows in the mid to upper 40’s and an afternoon high approaching 70 under partly cloudy skies. More clouds filter in later in the day in advance of a frontal system over the mid-west that will eventually bring us some rain, but not today. Southwesterly breezes freshen up the air with some gusts approaching 30 mph.
Sunday 4/11/21:
We’ll start the day with extensive cloud cover as the frontal system edges in, rain likely beginning by early afternoon and carrying into the late night. A tight temperature range given the cloud cover and high RH, morning lows in the low 50’s and afternoon highs in the upper 50’s with a northeasterly breeze.
