Your RI Weather Today – Wed, July 8, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
We’ll be firmly in the warm sector of a mid latitude frontal system, meaning warm and muggy conditions with rising dew point temperatures and the concurrent rise in misery index. It’ll be swampy. Saturated morning lows in the upper 60’s rising to the mid 80’s with skies opening up and letting some hazy sunshine through. A southwesterly breeze with some decent gusts will help move the thick air around.
