Your RI Weather Today, Sept. 9, 2021 – John Donnelly
by John Donnelly, meteorologist
A cold front moves through with a couple of upper level impulses of energy that will enhance the chance for some embedded thunderstorms in the morning and the afternoon. The light rain will stick around and overstay its welcome, ending sometime after midnight Friday. Moist morning low in the upper 60’s and afternoon highs in the low 70’s with a light south-southwesterly breeze.
