Your RI Weather Today. Sept. 15, 2021 – John Donnelly
by John Donnelly, meteorologist
Solidly in the warm and muggy sector of a frontal system, southwesterly winds will be gusting and driving the humid air into the area, providing fuel for some late evening and overnight showers and maybe a thunderstorm. We’ll likely have some morning mist to deal with, fog along the coasts before lifting by mid morning. Morning lows in the upper 60’s rise to the low 80’s, but dew points will be in the 70’s, a mid-September wring-out-your-sweat kind of day.
